On Thursday, November 2nd, the participants will visit the well known developer and publisher Daedalic Entertainment. Their detailed and inspiring point-and-click adventures like “Deponia” are well known. Currently, they are working on an adaptation of Ken Follet’s novel “Pillars of the Earth” among other games.

Visitors of PLAY will also visit Threaks, indie developers from Hamburg, which work independently and create numerous games. Both places explore the work of game developers and participants can ask designers, programmers, graphic artists about their work.

Meeting point is in the Markthalle at 1 pm. The excursion is limited to 20 participants, hence we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Please note that you will require a HVV ticket.

Excursion on Friday

On Friday, November 3rd, participants will visit InnoGames, a developer and publisher. Here, visitors can learn about the fascination of browser games and how one idea can become an enterprise. Game Designers will offer unique insights in their work and answer questions about the studio’s action, strategy, online and role playing games.

Additionally, visitors will visit Rocket Beans TV. The internet channel has created a unique concept and produces contributions about gaming and other topics. Visitors will be able to experience how the beans work and what happens behind the scenes.

Meeting point is in the Markthalle at 1 pm. The excursion is limited to 20 participants, hence we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Please note that you will require a HVV ticket in order to take public transport.
